Wares delivered to Made In Chico day afore yesterday. Thanks again to Made In Chico management and staff! Always a smile and kind comment or two. The left and middle bowls, what's left of a bowl set after separating the prime from non-prime (the other smalls have open pits on the insides). The large bowl needs to be larger yet to match up with four smalls... the "Terry" clay is a hit though!
There will be a five-bowl set in Terry clay next year!! The right bowl is a "heavy" - nice for mixing batter, serving, savoring a large serving of hot food.

Wares drying slooowly; it's cool in the Studio, raining outside.
Throwing the jar and lids earlier this week, then checking the diameters before moving to the next - within a half millimeter, each one! It does happen, and more often as the months and years slip by. 80mm is the most common lidded form size I'm making, by far. Wares from Monday's glaze fire, ready for delivery to Made In Chico.
The Variegated Blue jar, best ware from this firing. |
