Stylized depiction. The texture and color of the middle section is influenced by a layer of red slip. The line images are carved in the slip. There are white, and red underglaze highlights. The blue and red glazes made for an interesting horizon effect...

The blue mug goes with the carved one, both "Thank You" gifts.
